the world is infinite
the world is cold
my world is a treasure
my world is a prism
things aren't what they seem
things turned out exactly as planned
don't tell me no
don't tell me yes
follow the rules
get off of my back
stick to me like glue
don't look at me
hold me in you arms
stab me in the chest
sprinkle me with words
care for me with food
choke on a bone
call me on the phone.

I have told many lies..

one of them being, "I will write more".
Although the world around me has changed, somewhat for better, yet too for worse, I seem to remain neutral. My mind is expanding, my knowledge of many useful and/or useless things is growing and things don't seem so bad so often.
There may in fact come a time where I look back and wonder,
But it has also occurred to me that I may never know those answers.
It has also occurred to my attention, that those answers don't matter.
All that matters is what we do with the time that is given to us.
We are not our past, we are weary of the future, and the present seems to form it's own path amongst shadows of trees and nests of bees.
As long as we are civil, as long as we remain a loving people, we will have peace.

My dear companions
While basking in the musty scent in my little Corolla mixed with subtle hints of pumpkin spice and various coffee beans, I turned on the radio to lift my spirits on my drive home from work. I scanned the stations until I came upon the familiar voice of the grand Garrison Keillor. That deep, and comforting voice of his calmed my agitated nerves and quieted my inner annoyance with the horrible driving surrounding me in an instant. Despite the quiet chaos encased within my tiny automobile, and the faint sounds of horns beeping and buzzing in the scurry and hurry to get to where they need to go, I turned up the volume and settled to listen to A Prairie Home Companion, as I do every Sunday afternoon. Here is what I enjoyed, I'm sure you will too.

laundry day
So as I sit here folding what seems like an eternity of clothing, I can't help but think about random-ness. Today is a half-lazy day. Until Psychology then it gets hectic. Of course.
And Starbucks today, woo. Oh well, at least I close with Lisa, aka Jesus. haa
I think I want a new job. Or another one. I don't know.
Starbucks pays well and I love my partners..but I am such a gypsy. Its hard to stay in one place for too long.
Is that bad? Does that show my lack of commitment? Does it actually matter?
Well I just go back to folding clothes and listening to Rachael Yamagata.
: )

acts of kindness.

It's interesting how many lives can be changed by one small act of kindness. We live in a world where so much hatred, pain and inconciderate nonsence occurs all the time. Most people ignore what does not concern them directly. Yet, by ignoring these horrid acts of hate, they are not just steping aside and minding their business, they are contributing to hate by NOT doing anything about it. Racism,Control,Domestic-Verbal and Sexual abuse, Sexism, and Judgement. It doesnt make sense to me.
It seems like we have given up on ourselves. We must act. We must do something about it because if we dont act now, our world as we know it could turn into the fires of Hell and our children will have to live in it.
Lets try to love one another, despite our differences in Race, religion, opinions and sex.
And dont trust everything your government tells you. Have a mind of your own. Dont believe everything you hear.
"I dont know the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone." -Bill Cosby
